Welcome to your new home on the web! Over the next few weeks
we will be loading shows based mostly on Northern Soul music (The longest
underground youth culture in the UK). Based on mainly black American rhythm &
blues from the 1960's - 1980's, although Blue-eyed Soul artists, Pop acts, UK
R&B acts and even the odd rock & Funk record crept through because it had that
certain sound right for dancing all night too.
Our sister site Bluepower is also established as one of the
sites to catch up on the more Blues (and soul) side of the 1960's black music.
Run by my dear friend and Northern Soul icon (British born) John Rhys, who
wrote, performed and engineered many northern soul and rock classics in Atlanta
and Detroit at such places as Golden World & Impact records
